The phrase Farm to School can have a different meaning from class to class depending on the teacher/instructor and the learning materials being used. Did you know that several School Nutrition teams also have their version of a Farm to School Program? While Georgia Department of School Nutrition continues to make great strides in Farm to School Nutrition, there still are huge gaps that can only be filled by the school nutrition systems themselves. The purpose of this session is to breakdown the process of growers/farmers supporting their local school system.
