Celia has been farming for over 20 years and is a recognized leader and expert in small
scale diversified organic production in the Georgia farming community. Celia has been
involved in the start-up and operations of four farms, and simply would not be happy
doing anything else. She Came to Woodland Gardens in Winterville, GA in 2005. While at Woodland Gardens she has been very focused on diverse, high-quality, intensive year-round vegetable production,
with a goal of economic and environmental sustainability. Celia has overseen a staff from diverse backgrounds and cultures and takes great pride in the strength of her farm crew. She has staff that has worked alongside her for 15 years as they helped grow the farm to what it has become today.
