Description
Sit in on a detailed description of the summer lettuce production system at Woodland Gardens in Winterville, Georgia, then learn about the ongoing research being conducted on Snow’s Bend Farm in Coker, Alabama, with assistance from a SSARE Producer Grant. This session will include considerations of different types of structures and climate modifying tools such as shade cloth, cultivars, germination and losses, along with a cost-benefit analysis.
