Ayanna Burroughs is a Farm to School advocate, gardener, and educator with a passion for community healing through connection to the land. She began her growing journey with students in 2018, witnessing the transformative power of gardens, farms, and greenspaces. Ayanna leads a Farm to School program in Atlanta, cultivating organic produce for cafeteria meals and providing garden-based education that empowers and uplifts students. She is the co-founder of the Agriculture Educators Association of Atlanta (AESA), which supports agriculture educators through resource sharing and skill-building workshops. Ayanna also owns June Apple Nursery, a plant nursery and flower farm in Atlanta.
