Join us for a forward-thinking session that explores how education, technology, and community initiatives are transforming the agricultural landscape for the next generation. This session will highlight three key discussions that focus on integrating agricultural opportunities within school programs and empowering future leaders in the field. Topic 1: From Classroom to Community: Innovating Agriculture in Schools: Join Nicole McGiboney as she explores how schools can bridge the gap between classroom learning and community agricultural opportunities. This session will highlight partnerships and programs that connect educational institutions with local farming initiatives, fostering both community engagement and sustainability. Nicole will also discuss how introducing innovative agricultural systems into school curriculums can enhance experiential learning and inspire students to understand and engage with the agricultural sector in meaningful ways. Learn how these initiatives can transform school programs and create lasting community impact Topic 2: The ECO Next-Generation Farmer-Leadership Program: youth participants present their research on agriculture and innovative technology.
