Abbie collaborates with organizations of all sizes—global initiatives, grassroots movements and everything in between—to help them make a bigger impact. As the Research, Learning, and Impact Manager at Ignited Word, she explores creative approaches for sparking change, with a special focus on network mapping and its power to drive collective action. Abbie is passionate about economic and environmental justice, with a particular focus on food systems and their role in fostering thriving communities. Guided by her background in international development, she approaches her work through a lens of equity and cultural responsiveness.

After serving in the Peace Corps in South Africa, Abbie earned her Master’s in Development Practice at Emory University with specializations in Sustainable Solutions and M&E. In addition to her work at Ignited Word, she has been supporting Atlanta's Partnership for Southern Equity as a Health Equity Research Consultant since 2020.
