Dr. Anna Scheyett is a clinical social worker, researcher, speaker, and part-time professor at the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, where she coordinates the Extension Behavioral Health Team. Her work focuses on stress, mental health, and well-being among farmers and farm families. She was born in Maryland and has lived in Georgia and North Carolina. Her agricultural ties are in the mountains of Puerto Rico, where her grandfather grew coffee, and in Arkansas, where her daughter studies blackberry production.
