                                                    Mr. McQuary has served American producers since 2015 as a Risk Management Specialist, and since March 2022 as a Senior Risk Management Specialist with the USDA’s Risk Management Agency (RMA). In his position he provides oversight and management of the federal crop insurance program, which protects producers from weather and sometimes even market losses. He additionally provides non-supervisory oversight for specialists on crop teams assigned to him. 
Mr. McQuary graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a dual major in Professional Aeronautics and Management and continued with an MBA from William Carey University. He grew up in rural southwestern Ohio before enlisting in the US Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller and retiring in 2012 at the rank of Technical Sergeant.
In addition to his role with USDA, Mr. McQuary is himself a Beginning/Veteran Farmer having raised laying chickens for the past ten years, purchasing land four years ago, and, in addition to chicken eggs, now raises cattle and various fruit, tree nuts, and vegetable crops.
