Annie Moore co-owns River Queen Greens, a Certified Naturally Grown diversified vegetable farm in New Orleans’ Lower Coast Algiers neighborhood. Growing on over five acres, the farm is the largest vegetable producer in Orleans Parish, providing produce to its subscription Farm Share customers as well as shoppers at the Crescent City Farmers Markets and a handful of local restaurants. The first farm to be approved to accept online SNAP payment for direct sales through a partnership with the GrownBY sales platform, River Queen Greens prioritizes accessibility of nutritious food to its local community, as well as responsible land stewardship. Prior to starting River Queen Greens in 2017, Annie was director of social enterprises at nonprofits in the Boston area. She holds a MBA in nonprofit management and Masters of Public Policy from Brandeis University, and a BA from Williams College.
