Chad Adams, hails from Anderson South Carolina is a third generation gardener-farmer influenced by both his maternal and paternal lineage. Having the desire to know more about the business aspect of farming, he pursued a B.S. in Agribusiness from South Carolina State University. He continued his studies at the University of Illinois. Chad has served as Horticultural Adjunct Professor at Chattahoochee Technical College.
Chad graduated from the HABESHA Works Program in 2017. That experience reinspired his motivation and realigned him with his passion. He served on the HABESHA team as Instructor for the Urban Agriculture Network. Using natural farming methods, Chad created Earlie Bird Farms in honor of his grandfather. Earlie Bird Farms has a South Carolina license to grow commercial hemp. Chad is a member of the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association. When time allows he assists the works of EcoParadigm.
