Monica Griffin MS, RD/LD is a child nutrition expert with over 15 years of experience in the ECE setting. She is Assistant Director of Nutrition and Wellness Initiatives at Quality Care for Children, an Atlanta-based Child Care Resource and Referral Agency, Child Care Food Program sponsor, and non-profit dedicated to connecting families with quality child care. In her role, she develops programs and resources that empower early childhood professionals to support healthy habits and reduce food insecurity for children and families. Monica has been a member of the Georgia Farm to ECE Coalition since its founding and is active on the Coalition’s steering and advocacy committees.
Previously, Monica has supported early childhood professionals through roles with the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, Head Start, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Monica earned a BS in Dietetics from Michigan State University, and a MS in Public Health Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University.
