Jemekia Belle, Nutrition Program Consultant 3 at Quality Care For Children with the Nutrition and Family Well-Being department, with five plus years of experience. In her current role she helps integrate nutrition education with childcare programs and advise programs on the application of nutrition principles within their food service programs to help support healthy habits and reduce food insecurity for young children and families. During her current role, Jemekia has become a State Approved Trainer who organizes and conducts workshops and training sessions, and train new program staff on sponsor content and objectives. Jemekia is an active member of the Georgia Farm to ECE Coalition. Jemekia earned BS in Nutrition and Food with a Community Nutrition Specialization from Georgia Southern University.
