Joanne has been raising Gulf Coast Sheep in Georgia for 20 years. Her main interests are preservation of an endangered Heritage breed of sheep, small farm production, and creating value-added products. She sells yarn and other wool related products, She teaches classes, mentors young shepherds, and is currently serving as the Georgia Sheep and Wool Growers Association president.
