Russell Honderd is a worker/owner with Love is Love Cooperative Farm in Mansfield, GA where he and his partners grow certified organic vegetables, cut-flowers, and transplants for their CSA, regional wholesalers, and our broader organic farming community. He began gardening, urban farming, and exploring the politics of food in 2009. In 2013, Russell attended the Organic Farmer Training Program at Michigan State University. Since completing the program he has worked as an assistant instructor at Michigan State, helped build and manage two farm operations, worked alongside his spouse to manage a culinary garden for the Greyfield Inn on Cumberland Island, and consulted for other farmers generally, and specifically around farm layout, wash/pack design, and systems implementation.
