Joining the team in November 2017, Kim Santijanna is the Lead Early Care and Education (ECE) Health Educator at HealthMPowers, a state nonprofit organization that champions healthy habits and transforms the environments where children live, learn, and play.
A graduate of Widener University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Kim has vast experience working with children ranging in grade level from preschool and Pre-K to middle and high school. With extensive knowledge and expertise in CACFP and Georgia Pre-K programs, Kim’s career background includes working as a Pre-K Assistant, School Age Counselor, Assistant Director, Director, Foster Care Case Manager, and Franchise Support Specialist.
Throughout her career, Kim has worked with children and families from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Kim is passionate about encouraging, supporting, and training ECE providers using her wide range of knowledge, insights, and experiences to promote the health, well-being, and learning of young children across Georgia.
