The Bringing the Farm to School: School Food Sales through School Buyer Connections Workshop aims to connect local farmers to buyers who sell to schools within their locale. This workshop will strengthen produce readiness to sell to school food buyers and help them analyze which marketing channel is the best fit based on their goals, skills and capacity. From understanding the various market channels used to procure school food to gaining an awareness of the child nutrition programs within K-12 settings, farmers will leave the workshop equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary for school food sales.
