This session will explore The Conservation Fund’s Farms Fund program, an innovative "Buy, Support, Protect, Sell" model that helps next-generation farmers access farmland and scale their businesses in the Atlanta, Chicago, and Charlotte metro areas. Participants will hear from two Southeast farmers, Rahul Anand of Snapfinger Farm and EliYahu Ysrael of Atlanta Harvest, as they share their experiences growing their operations, meeting local food demand, and working with partners like NRCS, Extension, and Georgia Organics. The session will highlight strategies for increasing production, accessing wholesale markets, and using regenerative practices, followed by a Q&A with the farmers and the Farms Fund team.
