This interactive session, based on SARE’s How to Conduct Research on Your Farm or Ranch bulletin, will guide farmers through the process of conducting effective on-farm research. Participants will learn how to identify research ideas or hypotheses, design experiments, apply randomization techniques, analyze data with simple statistical methods, and draw meaningful conclusions. The session aims to empower farmers to test sustainable agriculture practices on their own farms. Additionally, we will cover Southern SARE’s Producer Grant program, offering insight into funding opportunities for farmer-led research.
